The childhood friends, both from musical families, became members of Prince's band and appeared in the movies "[r=3140415" & "[m=268031". After Prince disbanded [a571633 they formed in 1987 the duo [a67042 and built up a second foothold by writing/recording music for various film & TV productions like NBC's "[url=https://www.discogs.com/release/2662636Heroes[/url", or Showtime’s "[url=https://www.discogs.com/release/3367303Nurse Jackie[/url". In an interview with 'Out' magazine in 2009, they discussed being in a personal relationship from 1981 until 2002.
