New Zealand's best jazz funk fusion band, Space Case was led by the core group of Frank Gibson Jr (drums), Brian Smith (sax), Kim Paterson (trumpet) & Murray McNabb (keys), with Andy Brown or Bruce Lynch standing in on bass. The group released three standout New Zealand fusion albums.
