Short-lived [l904 label that released jazz, R&B, and funk titles between 1976 and 1979, as well as a handful of Christian-music albums in the early 1980s. It was to be reactivated in the 1990s, but the sale of A&M to [l8742 in 1989 caused the plan to be abandoned. CD reissues are now released by the Verve division of [l38404, the current owner of A&M.
