Her seminal single "[m=161368" (1982), was #22 on U.S. Club Play chart, #75 on U.S. R'n'B Chart). Among others, it's been sampled by Eric B. & Rakim in their single "[url=https://www.discogs.com/master/12685Eric B. Is President[/url" (1986); by Grand Puba in "Fat Rat" for the "[m=175369" (1991); by SWV in their single "[r=750096" (1996); and by Kool G Rap & D.J. Polo in their single "[m=325823" (1996).
Her other classic single "[url=https://www.discogs.com/master/161403Touch Me (All Night Long)[/url" (1984), as lead vocalist of group Wish (3) was #70 in the U.S. R'n'B chart, #49 in UK chart, and would later become a huge success with Cathy Dennis on her cover version, "[m=99333" (1991).
She charted again with "[m=161369" (1983), #19 in U.S. Club Play chart, and was the lead singer for the Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band track "[url=https://www.discogs.com/master/142920Deputy Of Love[/url" (1979), and the Fantasy (2) track "[m=138862" (1980). At one time she was also a member of [a88526.
