Canadian-American R&B, jazz and gospel singer-songwriter born April 26,.1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. Emigrated to Toronto, Ontario in 1980.
His debut album won the Juno award for best R&B/soul recording in 1986 and his 1989 follow-up, Spellbound, also won the Juno for best R&B/soul recording. Member of The Nylons 1991 to 1994. In 2008 his album All You Ever Want won the Juno for Best Dance Album.
